Kuressaare is full of fascinating stories, hidden details and historical layers that a simple walk won’t reveal. No one knows the city better than the guides, whose knowledge and passion for the region make every tour a unique experience.
By taking a guided tour, you can hear facts and legends that you might not notice when exploring on your own, and understand how history, architecture, and local life have intertwined over the centuries. Whether you’re a first-time visitor to Saaremaa or a lifelong local, taking a guided tour opens the door to new discoveries and makes you see the city in a completely different light.
Let the locals tell their stories
Free Kuressaare city tours will take place every Saturday from June 21 to August 16.
On Saturday morning at 11:00, a guide from the Saaremaa Guides Association will meet the people in front of the town hall and walk with them for an hour through the fascinating Kuressaare. The city tours are held in two different languages and groups: Estonian and English.
The city of Kuressaare has many interesting stories to tell. Therefore, we dare to recommend city tours to locals as well. You will definitely hear exciting facts that you did not know before. Since the tours are conducted by different guides, the excursions are always different.
If the time of the tour do not suit you, go on a private tour with one of the Saaremaa guides.
