In summer, lifeguards keep a watchful eye on swimmers, while the Beach House <a href=\"https:\/\/rannakuur.ee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">caf\u00e9<\/a> keeps you refreshed with food and drinks. The beach is also suitable for small children, who can enjoy a dip in the warm water. A notice board on the beach displays the current air and water temperatures. Be sure to check the colour of the flag: green means swimming is allowed, while red indicates swimming is prohibited.<\/p><p>Only 10 km from Kuressaare lie Saaremaa\u2019s most famous sandy beaches, stretching from <a href=\"https:\/\/puhkaeestis.ee\/et\/mandjala-supelrand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\u00e4ndjala<\/a> to J\u00e4rve. To reach the beach, you can travel by car, bike along a safe bicycle path or take the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.peatus.ee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">county bus<\/a> to the coast. Beautiful beaches can also be found in quieter places, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.puhkaeestis.ee\/et\/tuhkana-rand-ja-puhkekoht\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuhkana<\/a> or <strong>J\u00f5iste<\/strong> in Northern Saaremaa. Tuhkana beach is known for its crystal-clear waters. Windy days are ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing, but you can also try standup paddleboarding (SUP) or simply enjoy a hike along the coastal areas.<\/p>\n<p>If you are heading to the beach, be sure to pack a picnic basket. While Saaremaa and Muhu have many beautiful beaches, not all of them offer kiosks or caf\u00e9s where you can purchase refreshments. Remember to follow the rules of each beach and act responsibly.
